ncbi-seg-dbg software package provides debug symbols for ncbi-seg, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ncbi-seg-dbg
ncbi-seg-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ncbi-seg-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ncbi-seg-dbg *
You will get with ncbi-seg-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
